Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student at her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 70s. She was a harpsichord student and the flautist piano for three years. She survived on a student salary and part-time work to supplement her budget. Lennox was able to make a change in her path in life following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience and lack of talent comparison with the other Royal Academy students. Lennox became part of the group Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. The group didn't make it to the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. The main part of her role was the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. It was here that she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva that was released in 1992. It received lots of praise, both from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album came out on October 31, 2014. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favourite blues, jazz and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. This is the companion album of her "Now I let the door open... artwork that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first independent album.
